Bangser is a member of International Advisory Committee to IWHM. IWHC made two grants totalling $25,000 to the IWHM (including earmarked $10,000 from Cowell Foundation), and also travel grants to eleven Third World colleagues. Conference organizing committee requested IWHC to support four sessions on unwanted pregnancy which Bangser helped organize in Manila. Meeting provided needed information to newcomers to health movement and increased understanding of complexity of reproductive health and rights issues. Participants came from all regions and a variety of backgrounds.
