Oral Histories
We present filmed oral histories of the women who helped transform population and development policy at the UN ICPD ’94 and at the UN’s Fourth World Conference on Women in ’95. Narrators tell why they became activists; the strategies they used to effect change in their countries; why and how they became part of the alliance that envisioned–and secured–a revolutionary Programme of Action.
