Eighteen-month, $120,000 project in collaboration with IPPA and Johns Hopkins University started October 1, 1987 to investigate the nature and management of reproductive tract infections in M.R. clients of IPA clinic in Bali, Indonesia. Ford/Jakarta funding $60,000 of total for IWHC technical assistancce through grant begun November 1, 1986. Data collection completed; final data cleaning underway. Data analysis planned for October 1989. Preliminary findings: cervicitis (26%); bacterial vaginosis (21%); yeast (16%); trichomonas (7%); chlamydia (4%); gonorrhea (0.8%).
