Three-year, $125,000 grant from Ford/Jakarta started January 1, 1990 suppmements previous three-year grant to provide technical assistance for standardization and experimental implementation of high quality reproductive health care in nine IPPA clinics. Leveraged, supplementary grant from Ford/Jakarta ($160,000) to fund IPPA project directly. Current work includes consolidation of client-centered services developed in first three years, expansion of project to two additional clinics, research and community outreach and education. Bangser visited in November 1991 to provide technical assistance to IPPA and to explore how the program might serve as a model for women's health services provided by government.
