Activities include health education in churches, mosques, markets, and schools and through media including radio, TV, and theater. Following successful small grants in FY 1989, small grants made in FY 1990 for the International Day of Action for Women's Health to nine state branches of Women's Health Research Network in Nigeria (WHERNIN); Women in Nigeria (WIN), Kano; and the Institute for Primary Care and Child Health, Lagos. Activities in FY 1991 likely to be supported through grant to WHERNIN (see below).
