In March 1989, Coit and Kay conferred with Ministers of Women's and Social Affairs, Business and Professional Women's Association and women's savings associations to assess interest in reproductive health and recommended support for organizational and leadership development to empower women for reproductive health advocacy action. Follow-up discussions planned for October-November 1989.
