Individual grant ($19,500) made to initiate WHENIN (Women's Health Network in Nigeria). Grant to be used for partial support of Kisekka's sabbatical year, start up WHENIN activities including a panel presentation at the annual meeting of SOGON (Society of OB/Gyns), initial meeting of network, and a newsletter. Staff visit in September will help finalize proposal to the MacArthur Foundation for longer term institutional support.
